It's been fun roaming around the city, but developing a routine has been a challenge!
1. Plan your route
Walking, riding the T, or driving?
Big Stroller, small stroller, no stroller?
The subway situation in Boston….we live on the green line.
Fun fact: The colors of the "T", the nickname for the subway here are related to the areas that the subway serves.
We live along the green line which serves the Fenway area, and it is intertwined in the Emerald Necklace…a green space right in the middle of the city!
Red (Crimson)--Harvard
Blue--The Harbor, also the first subway to go under water!
Silver--Our duck tour guide explained the silver is for the airport, but I have also read that it supposed to refer to speed, as in being the fastest transit aka "silver bullet"
Orange--Serves Washington Street which has been dubbed "Orange Street"
Purple is the commuter line.
2. Be Prepared.
We have never had to be more aware of the weather than now. So far, we have walked in the rain to church…twice.
T passes are nice to remember too, right?
Anyone that has visited Boston will tell you the subway here is not the NYC subway. IT IS SLOW.
It has taken me a little over a month to realize I cannot control the public transportation! haha.
We take our time!

3. Get Ready for an adventure
We have enjoyed exploring but sometimes you have to check off the to-do list!
We found the Samuel Adams Brewery….it's in the middle of small Boston neighborhood. It's free to visit and the tour is short with lots of beer served!
Even Stella enjoyed the Beer tour!?!
